I’m constantly on the next best beauty product, but sometimes even the best products can’t fix what’s on the inside. My grandmother was the fashion editor of Ladies Home Journal for 30 years and I have a photo of her styling Audrey Hepburn right after My Fair Lady was released. It reminds me of the beauty tips that Ms Hepburn often offered.

For attractive (or plump)  lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of each of your arms.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years.

Just remember use those plump lips to speak words of kindness and make Ms. Hepburn proud!

This week I caught up with CITY Lips give- away winner Kylie- she is a young professional who works for a TV station in Salt Lake City, UT. She is constantly on the go and loves a beauty give- away as much as the next girl! First of all congratulations on winning! When you won an Original Formula CITY Lips plumper and CITY Lips Jet Set, what were your initial thoughts?
It can’t hurt to try, and if I don’t like it I’m not out anything. But I am always game for finding new beauty products that I like.

Have you ever used a lip plumper before? How did this compare?
Yes I have tried other lip plumpers… and the others really don’t compare at all!!! Other lip plumpers have a funky smell, CITY Lips has no smell… at least not a funky one. Other plumpers hurt, they tingle and burn, CITY Lips feels great, no burning feeling at all! I noticed results within minutes of applying that lasted even after the product was no longer on. Also, Original CITY Lips is not too sticky which is a total plus.

What’s your City Lips routine?
I start my day out by applying CITY Lips on my way into work. I also re-apply in the afternoon with the Clear and the Los AngeLIPs color. Then right before I go to be I apply the clear CITY Lips. I won a pack of the mini ones. I love that they are small and can fit in a clutch for the evening or I can throw it in my pocket.

Things you love most about city lips?
CITY Lips, aside from being a lip plumper has helped the health of my lips more than I could have ever imagined! I have always had chapped peeling lips, totally not attractive, I have tried everything to solve that problem from drinking tons of water, to making sure I always had chapstick close by, to exfoliating my lips multiple times a week, but nothing worked. Within days of trying CITY Lips I noticed that this problem was gone. My lips have never looked so healthy! I love my lips!!!
